How does the Raft automatically detect a drowning?

How does the Raft automatically detect a drowning?

Two systems work in tandem. The primary method: recessed water sensors automatically trigger a Water Alert the moment the Raft is submerged.

As a backup: if a lifeguard sinks too deep or too quickly for the water signal to escape the pool, the built-in accelerometer detects the drop event. If that drop is followed by a complete loss of signal, the system declares a Fall Alert — ensuring incidents are not missed even in deep water.
