Managing Wi-Fi Networks

Managing Wi-Fi Networks

The Wi-Fi Networks page under Settings shows all Wi-Fi networks your Rescue devices are connected to or have connected to previously. This is also where you add new networks when your Wi-Fi credentials change.

Viewing connected networks

Each network entry shows the SSID, when it was last seen, which device last reported it, and when it was first discovered. This gives you a clear audit trail of which networks your infrastructure uses.

Adding a new network

Click Add Network, enter the SSID and password, and save. Contact support@punchrescue.com if you need assistance confirming credentials have been pushed to your devices.

What to do if your Wi-Fi password changes

If your facility's Wi-Fi password changes, your Repeaters will go offline because they connect to Wi-Fi directly. Each Repeater will need to be re-provisioned with the new credentials using the Rescue Mobile app. Go to Devices > Find Device > Connect via Bluetooth, select the affected Repeater, and provision it with the new network credentials. The Base Station connects via Ethernet PoE and is not affected by Wi-Fi password changes.

Before changing your facility's Wi-Fi password, schedule the change during off-hours and have the Rescue Mobile app ready to re-provision Repeaters immediately after. Reach out to support@punchrescue.com if you need assistance.
