Who gets notified when an emergency is declared?
This depends on your configuration.
If your organization uses Rescue natively: Each emergency category has an Escalation Level setting:
- Set to Responders Only: only users with the Responder role receive the alert via push notification, SMS, and email
- Set to All Users: every user in the system is notified simultaneously via critical push alert, SMS, and email
If your organization uses STOPit Notify: Who gets notified is controlled by your Notify configuration — not the role settings in the Rescue dashboard. Confirm your responder assignments in the STOPit Notify admin console.
Administrators can review and adjust notification settings under Settings > Monitoring in the dashboard.
