Monitoring Your Devices

Monitoring Your Devices

The Rescue Dashboard at app.punchrescue.com gives you a live view of every device in your facility. It's designed to be your first stop for daily monitoring and your command center during an active incident.

The Home page

When you log in, the Home page shows four at-a-glance tiles:

  • Emergencies: Any active emergencies.

  • Offline Devices: Devices not currently connected to the network. Ideally reads zero at all times.

  • Low Battery Devices: Devices flagged for low battery that need attention before being used.

  • Assigned / Unassigned Cards: Tracks Card assignment status. If you do not currently have Rescue Cards, this tile shows N/A.

The Device Settings Panel

Click the gear icon on the far right of any device row to open its settings panel. This is your most comprehensive view of any individual device. The Device Data section shows: cellular enabled status, battery voltage, temperature, connection type, power reading, humidity percentage, online/offline state, current LED status, and last heartbeat timestamp. A Restart Device button is in the top right corner.

The Functions section lets you adjust: alert volume, fall sensitivity (for Raft-equipped customers), sound duration, and light duration and strobe light settings. The red Test Alert section activates the device's alarms locally for testing and provides a Reset Alert button.

Always click Save after making any changes in the device settings panel before closing it. Click Undo Changes to discard edits.

What the Heartbeat Means

Every 10 minutes, your Base Station sends a signal to the backend confirming it is online and transmitting diagnostic data. Rescue Cards send heartbeats every 5 seconds and are seamlessly transmitted in real time through the Repeaters. This allows the system to continuously track their status and location. If a device misses its heartbeat, the dashboard flags it as offline and alerts your designated administrators if monitoring notifications are configured. You do not need to do anything about heartbeats, as they happen automatically. Use the Devices page to confirm all devices are checking in on schedule.
