What should I do when a staff member leaves?

Go to Users in the dashboard and click the departing staff member's name. Select Remove User — their login credentials will no longer work and they will stop receiving notifications immediately.

Before removing them, confirm at least one other administrator with full access remains on the account. Removing the only admin leaves the account without anyone able to manage it. If they were assigned a Rescue Card, reassign that Card to another staff member before or immediately after removing their account.

If your organization uses STOPit Notify, also update their responder assignment in the Notify admin console — both systems need to be updated.
