What user roles are available?
| Role | What they can do |
|---|
| Super Admin | All privileges, including the ability to change other users' permissions |
| Admin | Full dashboard access — manage devices, configure settings, add/remove users, edit the map, activate Test Mode |
| Responder | Receives emergency notifications. Can view the live map and active emergency details. Cannot change system configuration. |
| User | Basic access. Can view their profile and — if they have a Rescue Card — see their assigned Card and location in the Rescue Mobile app. |
| Custom | Any combination of section access configured by an Admin |
Note: If your organization uses STOPit Notify, emergency notification delivery is controlled by your Notify configuration. The Responder and User roles in the Rescue dashboard do not affect who receives Notify alerts.

How is Card firmware updated?
Card firmware is updated Over-the-Air (OTA) and is managed by the Punch Rescue team on your behalf. You do not need to manually update Card firmware. If an update is available, Punch Rescue deploys it remotely and notifies you.
